Recorded and self-produced in his home studio two years prior to release, What You Give is an energetic and bluesy rocker about selflessness, delivered with some cheeky lyrics. Both the song and the music video hit a little harder than his other tracks and together they take you on a journey through a gritty, swampy, musical highway full of southern charm, to a mystical place of spiritual wisdom. Photograph by Mike MorrisseyPrav is a Boston-based multi-instrumental musician, singer-songwriter and independent artist who blends indie pop and rock with soul and rhythm & blues to craft uplifting songs with words of experience. In 2024, Prav took a break from his original career to focus on music full-time and make his debut record while injecting his positive energy into Boston’s live music scene.
Prav also teaches guitar through his newly established music school: Karma Music School

At the age of sixteen, Prav developed an interest in music when he picked up an electric guitar for the first time and started learning to play blues guitar. Inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Nuno Bettencourt and John Frusciante, he honed his skills as a guitarist for over three decades. However, his deep love and passion for music led him to focus on songwriting and expanding beyond the guitar to several other instruments including the drums. His influences include an eclectic mix of artists such as David Bowie, Otis Redding, Sade, John Mayer, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Queen, U2, Extreme, The Black Keys, and Koko Taylor.
Prav is also a visual artist, whose most recent work includes music videos and the artwork and graphic design of his cover art.
